Weaving networks of social and solidarity entrepreneurship with urban and rural women in the Department of Cajamarca, Peru.
The project contributes to improving the economic autonomy of women in situations of economic and social vulnerability in the Department of Cajamarca, Peru, in order to guarantee the full exercise of their rights in equality and to enable them to satisfy their needs and interests. The project aims to increase the generation of their own income and economic resources, promoting economic entrepreneurship through cooperative and/or associative businesses of quality agro-ecological products.

Enginyeria Sense Fronteres (ESF, Catalonia) and Grufides (Peru), with the financial support of AECID and the Ajuntament de Barcelona and with the collaboration of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Peru) and the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca (Peru).
Why we do this project:
Through a close collaboration with ESF and Grufides, entities that have been working for years to improve social conditions, economic alternatives and sustainability in the territory of the Cajamarca region, we contribute our experience in social innovation and the promotion of economic initiatives with a positive impact in vulnerable contexts.
